Project “Inclusive First Aid” holds final meeting

Posted on | Project “Inclusive First Aid” holds final meeting

From 27-29 September, the consortium of the project “Inclusive First Aid” (INFA) met for their last working session in Sveti Ivan Zelina, Croatia, hosted by local project partner SRCE. INFA is an Erasmus+ co-funded project on first aid for persons with disabilities.

The main item on the agenda was the review of a draft text for the upcoming final project brochure, which will document the practices and general guidelines for training persons with disabilities in first aid that have been discussed in the project over the past two years. For this discussion, the first aid organisations came together with representatives of DPOs Inclusion Europe and Sustento again, who had consulted the project at an earlier meeting and throughout its progress.

The meeting on the premises of SRCE, who are a service provider for persons with disabilities, was also used as an opportunity to discuss the project’s work with some of their clients, to check the project’s results with additional individuals from the target group.

A tour of SRCEs service center and assisted living facilities complemented the meeting, giving the participants a direct impression of the available services for persons with disabilities.

After the meeting, the group had successfully reviewed the current draft and agreed on a roadmap to jointly finalise the document before its planned publication in December.
