SAM.I. welcomes new member organisation FSR
Posted on |SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL has a new member organisation: Federatia Samaritenilor Romani (FSR) from Romania was officially accepted into our network at the meeting of the presidium last Friday in Stuttgart.
FSR was just recently founded as a national federation of Romanian Samaritan organisations. Their local member organisations had been cooperating with several ASB local associations for over a decade in first aid training, patient transport and elderly care. Most recently, they also had their first project cooperation with the SAM.I. network as such, when they contributed to our series of flash mobs with two events of their own.
Dr. Cristian Anton Vintilescu, president of FSR, held a short presentation about the previous cooperations with ASB branches as well as about the current activities of FSR. Two representatives of ASB, who have been following the development of the Romanian Samaritans for a long time, Mr. Karl-Eugen-Altdörfer, board member of ASB Germany, and Mr. Erich Matthis from the ASB regional assocation of Bad Windsheim were guests of the presidium on the occasion.
