Due to continuing uncertainty regarding the developments in the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Samaritan Contest 2020 has been cancelled. The next Contest will take place in 2022.
The project partners of the Erasmus+ project “MOSAIC – equal possibilities for all” held the first kick-off meeting on 9 March 2020.
The project FACET held a training preparation workshop in Florence, Italy, from 16-19 February 2020. ANPAS hosted the group at their national head offices.
The consortium of EMPACT came together in Nairobi, Kenya from 24-29 February their second certification workshop. Local project partner Jukumu Letu hosted the group.
The Samaritan Contest 2020 will take place from 30 July to 2 August 2020 in Bruneck, South Tyrol Italy. Registration is open until 31 May.
In 2019, SAM.I was awarded the project contract for the new Erasmus+ project TECS for the exchange of best practices in the field of care and nursing education.

The partners of the EMPACT project came together in Belgrade, Serbia at the end of October 2019 to begin in-depth work on certification in EU Aid Volunteers (EUAV).
Six Samaritan organisations from all over Europe conducted coordinated first aid awareness events and flash mobs on 26 September 2019.
From 15 to 18 August 2019 the Samaritan Forum 2019 took place in Mörbisch am See. The focus topic was rescue and civil protection. The event also included the 25th anniversary of Samaritan International.
