European Commission opens call on elderly care
Posted on |The European Commission’s Directorate General Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion has put out a call for proposals to establish an expert network on long-term care and dependency prevention.
The new call aims to respond to the challenges posed for long-term elderly care by demographic and societal change. Submitted proposals should address these issues by forming a network of experts, that can work out recommendations on how future long-term care concepts can remain affordable and also how the need for long-term care can be reduced through prevention of dependency on full-time care for as long as possible.
The deadline to hand in project proposals is March 31st, 2015. Interested organisations should check out DG Employment’s call announcement and the accompanying documents here.
