Policy and Advocacy

SAMARITAN INTERNATIONAL has had its own representative office in Brussels since October 2016. Next to expert exchange within the SAM.I. network, we are advocating our interests towards the European institutions, as well as joining forces with like-minded European associations to strengthen our voice in our advocacy efforts.

By drawing on the expertise of our members, present in 19 European countries and covering a diverse range of social services, emergency and rescue services, medical transport services, civil protection, first aid trainings and volunteer management, we put forward our views on what is needed as an enabling framework for our members to successfully fulfil their missions.
