White Cross South Tyrol: New President Barbara Siri

On 5th June, Barbara Siri took office as the new President of SAM.I.’s South Tyrolean member organisation White Cross.

Former President Dr. Georg Rammlmair took the opportunity of the 50th anniversary of the association to declare that he was not going to seek reelection, after almost 20 years of continuously serving in this position. At the General Assembly last Friday, he handed over his office to Ms Siri.

Barbara Siri can look back on a long career in White Cross. She originally entered the association in 1993 as a volunteer and worked in emergency counselling for many years. From 2005 to 2008 she was the association’s youth director, since 2008 she has been a member of the board and vice-president of WK.
